Aurélien Chauvaud
Aurélien Chauvaud was born in Paris and studied Photography between his native France, England, and Barbados. After many years working globally as an assistant, he launched his career for which he has won many celebrated awards for his work and splits his time between London and Paris.
His work centers on projecting the imaginary upon an existing reality. He is interested in creating images that are at the boundary of documentary but captured with his unique eye, aiming to conserve the human and social context of the subject.
He has been acknowledged by D&AD, The PDN Photo Annual, The Cannes Lions Awards, the Clio Awards, The International Photography Awards (IPA), the Bill & Melissa Gates Foundation Award, the Kodak Talent Bursary, and the Art Director’s Club of Europe amongst the others. Clients include McDonald’s, Orange, Playstation, Canal+, Amazon, Renault, DS Automobiles, Bloomberg, Mastercard, GQ, AD, Milk, Variety, Publicis, TBWA, McCann, and Mother to name a few.
